Cub Scout Pack 1565
Our mission is to provide the children of the Spring community the opportunity to grow and learn, to build strong character and moral principles, to develop leadership skills and confidence, and to understand what it means to be a contributing member of the community. Service to others is a large component of the Scouting ministry and we always have FUN!
Cub Scouts is for boys and girls in kindergarten (or 5 years old) through the 5th grade (or 11 years old). Pack 1565 chartered in 1980 and has operated continuously for over 35 years. Meetings are held at Cypress Trails UMC on Tuesdays, during the school year, at 7:00 PM. Cub Scouting is family oriented and community based – whole families are welcome to attend and participate. Activities, events and community service projects are generally local. Unit leaders for Pack 1565 are: Dennis Tyler, Cubmaster – email: email@example.com and phone number: 713-594-1625; and Carla Burnett, Committee Chair – email: firstname.lastname@example.org and phone number: 713-409-4006.
The meeting day should be updated from Tuesdays to Thursdays. We are meeting only three times each month, I have attached a copy of the current calendar as the occurrence of the meetings changes each month. There are also some events on the calendar that I need to confirm will either be approved for onsite use of space, or rescheduled to a later date.
The Unit Leader – Cubmaster – information should be updated as well. Dennis Tyler is no longer serving in that position. Currently that position is filled by Doug Hurt, – email email@example.com and phone number 832-477-6054.
