Confirmation

Confirmation is where youth learn the principles of the Christian faith and begin to consider their role as mature followers of Jesus Christ. Confirmation is taught in the Summer as a series of six half-day retreats for youth 6th - 12th grade. During these retreats, youth build community and explore topics such as prayer, the nature of God, discipleship, what it means to be a Methodist Christian, the church, the Sacraments, worship, mission and service etc. At the end of Summer, first-time confirmands are presented before the church and confirmed to the service and love of God. This is a time of affirmation and celebration for all youth and their families, and the entire church.
